Não é possível desinstalar aplicativos através do Ubuntu Software Center

Estou executando o Ubuntu 10.04

Recentemente eu tentei desinstalar aplicativos do Ubuntu Software Center, mas mostra que o aplicativo foi desinstalado, mas com algum erro. Quando eu verificar o aplicativo do menu do aplicativo, ele mostra o ícone, mas ao clicar nele mostra erro. Eu quero me livrar disso. Por favor me ajude a consertar o problema.

Este é um problema com sua localidade, ou seja, seu idioma, hora e formato de data. Eu não me lembro exatamente o que parece em 10.04, mas você deve ser capaz de encontrá-lo no menu do sistema. Em 12.04, é chamado de "Suporte a Idiomas".

Verifique se as configurações de idioma estão corretas e se você instalou os idiomas que está usando. Você também deve aplicar suas alterações ao sistema inteiro. Em 12.04 isso é chamado de "Aplicar todo o sistema".
