Eu tentei instalar o Gnome no Ubuntu 13.04 usando este guia ( link . Não funcionou muito bem (houve alguns problemas), então tentei desinstalá-lo.
Eu segui as instruções, mas quando voltei para o Unity era "feio" e não conseguia ver a área de trabalho (eu tinha arquivos lá, mas eles não eram exibidos).
Eu reinstalei o gnome novamente e limpo tudo novamente, e eu acho que eu também desinstalei o ubuntu-deskop (seguindo os conselhos de outra página)
Agora a unidade é mais ou menos ok, mas ainda não consigo ver meu Desktop e alguns programas como o evince estão perdidos. Se eu tentar sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

Eu já tentei apt-get clean
, apt-get update
, apt-get autoremove
também ... Eu também segui os passos dados aqui O Gnome 3.8 afeta o Unity no Ubuntu 13.04 , mas ainda tenho o mesmo problema.
Alguma ideia de como posso fazer tudo funcionar de novo?
