Eu quero abrir o arquivo .rar com o unrar no Ubuntu 17.04. Então, eu tentei esses comandos deste Link :

sudo apt-get install unrar
cd /tmp
wget http://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarlinux-3.9.1.tar.gz

A saída do terceiro comando:

Você já instalou unrar quando executou o comando apt .

Basta executá-lo no terminal (consulte man unrar ):

unrar e myrar.rar

Se você quiser fazer % arquivosrar, instale o pacote rar :

sudo apt install rar

Você pode instalar o UnRAR com um instalador .deb (UnRAR Debian amd64) link
