Não é possível ligar a Wifi (Intel Wireless 7265, ASUS K501UW)

Por alguma razão, o meu laptop ASUS K501UW não pode se conectar ao WiFi (Ethernet funciona). Eu tenho tentado tudo o que pude encontrar aqui e no Google, mas não consigo descobrir como consertar isso.

Executar em um terminal

sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/asus.conf <<< "options asus_nb_wmi wapf=4"

e reinicie.
