Não é possível excluir a antiga imagem linux -.... Tentei

sudo apt-get --purge remove linux-image-3.13.0-32-generic

Mas estou com erro

Você tem um erro nesta linha de /etc/default/grub :

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="" acpi = nolapic 

Deve ser

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi=nolapic"
