Erro ao baixar pacotes, por exemplo VLC media player

Question

Instalei o Ubuntu 12.04, mas quando tentei instalar o VLC media player da central de software do Ubuntu, ocorreu alguma atualização de cache (tanto quanto me lembro), mas não consegui instalá-lo porque demorou muito para baixar e instalar . Então eu desligo meu PC.

Quando mais uma vez tentei instalar o VLC, recebi este erro ...

No terminal, digite sudo apt-get install -f . Isso tenta corrigir dependências quebradas.

Tente isso no terminal.

Execute o código de @Alaa Ali sudo apt-get install -f e, em seguida, sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update .
Se isso não funcionar, tente executar sudo apt-get purge vlc && sudo apt-get update Quando uma dessas correções funcionar, tente instalar o vlc através do terminal sudo apt-get install vlc .
