Redirecionar logs de rede do syslog para outro arquivo

Eu continuo fazendo log de muitas informações (não necessárias, por enquanto) no meu syslog , e não diariamente ou por hora ... mas instantaneamente. Se eu quiser assistir por algo no meu syslog eu simplesmente não posso porque o log da rede continua interferindo.

Então, como posso redirecionar os registros da rede para outro arquivo e / ou parar de registrá-lo?

A partir de sua saída que se parece com os logs de depuração do chip de rede é apenas caminho para o ruído. infelizmente, a menos que esse módulo tenha algumas opções (uma rápida olhada no Google mostra as únicas opções em tempo de compilação), eu não acho que você conseguirá fazer o que quiser.

Verifique /etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf e verifique a primeira das linhas para algo como *.*;auth,authpriv.none

altere para *.err;auth,authpriv.none

Haverá um caminho de arquivo no final da linha. No entanto, isso vai acabar com tudo. Algo que você pode não querer fazer.

Você pode, em vez disso, quando precisar ler esse arquivo, faça um

tail /var/log/syslog -n 1000 | grep -v "RT35xx|rt28xx

usando -v mostrará apenas linhas não correspondentes e o argumento é regex para que você possa ficar mais complicado. No entanto, parece que o driver é apenas um mal e os desenvolvedores precisam de um complemento para torná-lo muito detalhado.

Então, para recapitular:

Primeiro, tente diminuir a verbosidade do driver. Essa seria sua melhor opção.
Em seguida, crie algum tipo de instrução grep que filtrará as linhas que você não deseja.
Finalmente, se nada mais funcionar, ou se você não se importar, desative o registro.

Se você se empolgou em desligar a nota de log, você pode ser mais seletivo e apenas desativar o log do kernel. No entanto, eu realmente não recomendo isso.
