Erro ao instalar o Firefox

Estou usando o Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS. Ao instalar o Firefox, este erro é mostrado:

Tente remover todo o conteúdo do diretório /var/lib/apt/lists , você pode usar este comando:

sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

Em seguida, execute este comando:

sudo apt update

E, finalmente, tente instalar firefox novamente:

sudo apt install firefox

Se isso não funcionar, você pode tentar:

Configurações → Software e amp; Atualizações → Software do Ubuntu: Faça o download de: Altere Local para Main Server ou qualquer outro servidor que esteja perto de você.
