O Tethering USB não funciona no Ubuntu 17.04?

Não é possível obter o tethering de USB para funcionar, tenho trabalhado nisso por alguns dias agora. Eu tenho um Galaxy S7, eu tenho habilitado USB Debugging, habilitado USB Tethering, e tentei outros clientes de tethering USB do que apenas o meu padrão em minhas configurações. Eu corro Ubuntu e Windows dual booted no meu laptop HP Envy, então eu certifiquei de desativar todas as conexões sem fio (bluetooth incluído) no Windows e testar no Ubuntu novamente desde que usado para ou ainda é um bug.

A execução do ifconfig com o USB Tethering ativado permite isso.

A execução do ifconfig sem o USB Tethering ativado dá o mesmo resultado, então parece que o Ubuntu não está reconhecendo o dispositivo? Mas quando eu tenho tethering, ele aparece na minha lista de rede como uma conexão Ethernet chamada "Ethernet Network (SAMSUNG Android)", mas diz que está desconectada.

O que devo fazer? Qualquer outro comando de saídas ou logs que eu deveria postar?

O problema não no Ubuntu, enfrentei o mesmo problema no Windows 7

De alguma forma, o PC não reconhece a rede do Android com o DNS. Para resolver esse problema, você está usando algum aplicativo de conexão de bloqueio no seu android?

Se sim desativá-lo, tente usar o tethering de USB, se o mesmo problema fizer o seguinte:

1. Instalar (Configurar DNS ou DNS Changer) no Google play

2. Definir o DNS do Google

   DNS1: 8.8.8.8

   DNS2: 8.8.4.4

Em seguida, pressione conectar, depois tente ativar o tethering USB.
