Não é possível instalar / atualizar / remover aplicativos “tentando sobrescrever… o que também está em…” [duplicado]

Ao instalar a atualização ou remover qualquer aplicativo, recebo este erro:

$ sudo apt upgrade

Remova o pacote zorinos-icons . Não é oficial e impede que cabextract instale, fornecendo o mesmo arquivo.

já que o apt não estava funcionando, eu não pude executar     sudo apt purgar zorinos-ícones Então eu tive que remover manualmente os conteúdos pesquisando via gerenciador de arquivos no modo raiz. Agora está consertado.
