Ubuntu 16.04 repentinamente se desliga depois de desconectar o carregador

Eu tenho um Dell Inspiron 7560 que eu comprei recentemente. Eu tenho dual-boot do Windows e Ubuntu Mate 16.04 nele.

O Ubuntu repentinamente desliga após alguns segundos desconectando o carregador (isso não ocorre em nenhum outro momento). O laptop é novo e a bateria também, então não vejo nenhum motivo para essa ocorrência.

Eu tenho (pelo menos por enquanto) conseguido resolver o problema.

O problema, tanto quanto pude constatar, veio do Ubuntu usando a GPU Intel Integrada em vez da Nvidia.

Depois de limpar meu disco rígido e reinstalar o Ubuntu, instalei os drivers proprietários da Nvidia e, em Nvidia X Settings/PRIME Profiles , mudei para a GPU da Nvidia. O problema não ocorre mais (volta a mudar para a Intel).

ATUALIZAÇÃO: Aparentemente, o problema não foi resolvido. Ele ainda está sendo desligado e agora mesmo quando não conectei ou desconectei nada.
