Não é possível usar a interface de rede sem fio (Lubuntu Linux 4.8.0)

Estou encarregado de manter alguns computadores pessoais. Um deles é um antigo laptop Dell, que anteriormente tinha o Windows XP. Os drivers do Windows XP WiFi estavam funcionando, mas o Lubuntu não conseguiu instalar os drivers proprietários. Desde então, o WiFi não está mais funcionando. Depois que eu tentei reinstalar os drivers bc43 para o BCM4318, recebi vários erros e ainda não consegui acessar a rede. A rede com fio é possível e funciona bem.

Como pode reconfigurar a rede sem fio e remover os drivers que não funcionam?

Você tem dois drivers sem fio carregados para o seu dispositivo e, como sempre, um está incorreto. Por favor, abra um terminal e faça:

sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source

Além disso, você tem uma entrada defeituosa em / etc / network / interfaces. Não é apenas incorreto como está escrito, mas totalmente desnecessário. Vamos removê-lo:

Use nano ou kate ou leafpad se você não tiver o editor de texto gedit. Retornar o arquivo ao seu estado padrão.
