Não é possível instalar o vim com o apt-get

Eu tentei sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade , mas sem efeito, mesmo problema.

Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu. O vim funciona, mas A B C D é impresso quando as teclas de seta são pressionadas.

apt-get now supports a 'mirror' method that will automatically select a good mirror based on your location. Putting:

funcionou para mim! Eu adicionei as linhas acima em

/etc/apt/sources.list

no topo e depois eu

sudo apt-get update

e depois

sudo apt-get install vim

Ao navegar pelo link , parece que o espelho que você está usando está desatualizado. Você deve tentar alterar seu espelho para algo diferente, que deve corrigir o erro:

Você precisa adicionar o deb-src repo à sua sources.list.

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Remova o # da linha que começa com #deb-src e então Ctrl + o , Digite , Ctrl + x para salvar e sair do nano.

sudo apt-get update
sudo install vim

E o vim será instalado.
