Ubuntu 10.04.4 Problema de atualização do apt-get LTS

Então eu estou no 10.04.4LTS (servidor não edição desktop) e tentando atualizar. Antes disso, preciso consertar minha atualização do apt-get que não está funcionando. Já atualizei minhas fontes para as origens de versões antigas, da seguinte forma

Eu tentei o parâmetro -f , mas isso me preocupa, já que parece querer remover praticamente todos os meus pacotes.

O sistema lhe deu um status do que será feito. Durante a instalação, alguns pacotes não serão mais usados porque estão obsoletos ou simplesmente não estão sendo usados, porque todos os novos programas válidos têm suas próprias dependências.

Não vejo qualquer indicação de que haveria algum problema. Algumas pessoas têm problemas com algumas atualizações e outras instalam. No entanto, é relativamente raro.

A única ajuda que posso sugerir é que você atualize seu sistema porque o 10.04 é bem antigo e pode ter outros problemas, como algumas falhas de segurança que foram corrigidas nas atualizações.

Você pode executar o comando novamente e ele deve continuar de onde parou, fornecendo os resultados de um sistema atualizado.

Também recomendo que, após concluir o processo de atualização, você execute $ sudo do-release-upgrade algumas vezes até que esteja pelo menos até a versão 14.04.

A propósito, se você remover algo que faz com que um dos seus aplicativos pare de funcionar, você receberá um aviso quando tentar executar o aplicativo. Haverá etapas para reinstalar o aplicativo que está falhando.
