Seguiu as instruções dadas na url nameserver 127.0.1.1 no resolv.conf não vai embora! e comentou dns = dnsmasq em /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf e seu funcionamento agora
Eu tenho conexão wi-fi e lan para meu pc, o wifi tem internet e o lan me conecta a outros PCs na rede doméstica.
Se eu desconectar / desconectar o lan, a internet funciona, mas quando o wifi e o lan estão conectados, a internet funciona momentaneamente e depois se desconecta. Não consigo abrir nenhum site, até o ping não funciona aqui, por exemplo "ping google.com" dá:

Mas eu posso fazer o ping do ip na internet, por exemplo "ping 8.8.8.8" dá o seguinte:

Se você puder fazer ping de um IP, mas não puder acessar um domínio, isso parece um problema com seu servidor DNS. Tente nslookup google.com
para ver se a pesquisa de DNS funciona. Se não, tente alterar o seu servidor DNS para 8.8.8.8 (DNS público do Google).
Eu tive o mesmo problema. Resolvido, indo em Ferramentas do Sistema > Rede. Na guia DNS, notei um servidor 172. * que não reconheço. Eu substituí-lo com 8.8.8.8 e tudo funcionou bem.
