Tentou todas as opções e acabou percorrendo o caminho para firmware-b43-installer .

Isso agora foi resolvido com a remoção de drivers broadcom conflitantes e a instalação do pacote bcmwl-kernel-source que fornece o driver wl

Como nota lateral, iwconfig não parece refletir o aspecto 'AC' e 5Ghz do cartão:
