Problema sem fio HP Pavilion x360

Eu tenho um novo HP Pavilion 13 x360 e estou tendo problemas com o wireless. Eu procurei por aqui e por fóruns do Ubuntu, mas nenhuma solução existente para o meu problema parece existir. Eu instalei o boot duplo do Ubuntu MATE com o Win10 e o wifi não funciona (o ethernet faz isso e eu estou conectado a isso). Aqui estão os comandos de diagnóstico que usei lsmod

o mais estranho é que todas as outras postagens têm *-network DISABLED de lshw  onde como eu obtenho *-network UNCLAIMED

Seu dispositivo (e seu subsistema) é coberto pelo driver iwlwifi . Vamos carregar e ver se o seu wireless ganha vida:

sudo modprobe iwlwifi

Se isso trouxer sua rede sem fio, vamos fazer o sistema carregá-lo automaticamente na inicialização:

sudo -i
echo iwlwifi  >>  /etc/modules
exit

Se isso não ajudar, poste quaisquer erros vistos no terminal e verifique o log:

dmesg | grep iwl

Parece que você não tem o firmware necessário. Faça o download desse arquivo para a sua área de trabalho: link Clique com o botão direito e selecione "Extrair aqui".

Agora, de volta ao terminal:

cd ~/Desktop/iwlwifi-7265-ucode-25.17.12.0
sudo cp iwlwifi-7265D-12.ucode /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-3165-9.ucode

Reinicie e deixe-nos ouvir o resultado. Se o wireless não estiver funcionando, postar novamente:

dmesg | grep iwl

Parece que acer-wmi e hp-wmi estão carregados. Vamos colocar na lista negra acer-wmi . Primeiro, se ainda não estiver pronto, descarregue-o:

sudo -i
modprobe -r acer-wmi
echo "blacklist acer-wmi"  >>  /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Então, alguns meses depois, a resposta aceita funciona bem, mas conexões wi-fi às vezes entram e saem e são lentas quando comparadas à mesma conexão no mesmo computador no mesmo local, mas usando uma instalação do Windows, Por isso, explorei um pouco mais a minha própria experiência Linux e encontrei um gráfico da Intel com alguns downloads de drivers que funcionam melhor para o meu computador.

escolha o download correto para o seu próprio dispositivo Wi-Fi, faça o download e descompacte-o. então sudo cp iwlwifi${version}.ucode /lib/firmware/iwlwifi${version}.ucode onde ${version} é a versão do driver que você baixou. para mim foi iwlwifi-3160-14.ucode . isso foi em um HP Pavillion X360 13t com o dispositivo Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.
