O teclado Bluetooth da Logitech DiNovo Edge USB parou de funcionar após a atualização de 12.04lts para 14.04lts

Eu notei isso depois de atualizar meu desktop (peças PC de commodity) de 12.04lts para 14.04 lts. Atualização feita com o atualizador depois de ser notificado ontem que havia uma nova versão disponível. Eu tenho cutucado por algumas horas em vários computadores. Dois têm o problema e um parece bem. A partir desta área de trabalho, os logs mostram uma diferença entre as versões na mesma máquina na inicialização do syslog bluetooth.

O dispositivo bluetooth é um teclado da Logitech Edge com um adaptador USB Bluetooth 2.0.

Observe que a linha referente ao Adaptador /org/bluez/1058/hci0 está presente nas configurações de trabalho e está faltando no quebrado. Eu também tenho um Acer Aspire One rodando 14.04 que tem os mesmos sintomas / logs que meu desktop quebrado e o bluetooth está quebrado lá também. Eu tinha o teclado bluetooth trabalhando no Acer com 13.04 ou 13.10, mas não me lembro qual.

Na interface do usuário, a quebra se mostra nas Configurações do sistema - > Bluetooth como tudo desabilitado com Nenhum adaptador Bluetooth encontrado na lista de adaptadores. A caixa de seleção para Mostrar status do Bluetooth na barra de menus será verificada, mas nada será exibido.

A resposta para minha pergunta parece ser que eu preciso segurar o botão vermelho no dongle ao inseri-lo. O comportamento é diferente do que antes, mas parece razoável. Eu nunca usei o botão vermelho antes.

Eu testei isso através de uma reinicialização a quente e desligamento a frio. A conexão sobreviveu a ambos. Eu só precisava re-parear se eu puxasse o dongle para fora e o reinserisse. Para revisar, as etapas para fazê-lo funcionar são:

1. Insira o dongle enquanto mantém pressionado o botão vermelho.

2. Abra as configurações do sistema - > Utilitário Bluetooth. Agora, a opção de ativar o Bluetooth não está desabilitada e o Bluetooth é ativado.

3. Adicione o dispositivo e faça o emparelhamento e funciona!
