Quando ligo o computador, vejo o GRUB e inicializo no Ubuntu. Mas eu não consigo inicializar no Windows porque não vejo isso no GRUB.
Eu tentei o reparo de inicialização e sudo update-grub
sem sucesso. Provavelmente vale a pena mencionar que o BIOS usa UEFI para gerenciar sua inicialização.
Eu tenho o Ubuntu 12.10 e o Windows 7 instalados em algum lugar na mesma unidade.
Por que o MBR está em / dev / sdb?

Eu tive um problema semelhante no Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Execute sudo update-grub
.Você pode verificar Boot Repair também.
Eu instalei o windows 7 e perdi o grub de alguma forma. Reinstalado com um disco 10.10 usando este v em um terminal.
sudo mount /dev/sda4 /mnt
sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sda
então o windows não apareceria no grub então eu iniciei no Ubuntu e
sudo update-grub
ele pensou por um min e depois retornou o windows 7 (loader) em / dev / sda, (ou algo assim) então retornou "done" e eu reiniciei e seu fixou.
tente atualizar o grub dentro de um SO que tenha internet (idk se estiver relacionado, não tentei atualizar o grub sem internet)
