O GRUB não oferece opções no laptop de partição

Eu instalei o Ubuntu 14.04 nesta manhã em algum espaço livre que eu particionava no meu laptop Win7.

Desde então, ele só inicializará no Ubuntu. De todos os outros posts que eu vi parece ser geralmente o contrário. Eu ficaria muito mais confortável em manter e usar o Linux se soubesse que poderia voltar ao Windows, caso eu precisasse.

O Grub não me apresenta nenhuma opção. O bootinfoscript agora retorna o seguinte, pois passei algum tempo tentando me certificar de que tenho um arquivo menu.lst e o disco de inicialização) sda1)

Editar - correu os-prober e voltou com os seguintes resultados / dev / sda2: Ambiente de Recuperação do Windows (loader): Windows: chain / dev / sda4: Ambiente de Recuperação do Windows (loader): Windows1: chain

Eu executei o reparo de inicialização e agora tenho o grub, fornecendo as opções para o ambiente de recuperação do Ubuntu ou do Windows.

Eu tenho uma partição para boot, 1 para windows, 1 que foi usada para armazenamento e, em seguida, 1 para uma máquina virtual.

Rodando o os-prober e depois o sudo-mkconfig volta com o abaixo. Eu consegui obter o ambiente Window Repair para o carregador do Grub, mas ele ainda não me deixa inicializar no Windows. Mesmo o disco de recuperação do Windows não está me deixando entrar.

Então eu finalmente encontrei uma solução para isso. Pode ajudar alguém a ter o mesmo problema.

Meu sistema operacional Windows precisava de reparos e, apesar de não conseguir encontrar o disco de instalação original para o meu modelo do Win 7, consegui encontrar um. Eu usei isso para inicializar, e também tenho um modo "pressione f4 para recuperação" no meu Bios. Os dois juntos finalmente me permitiram fazer um reparo no Windows.

Depois disso, o os-prober foi capaz de descobrir o windows, então eu usei o boot-repair e agora tenho as opções que eu quero
