Sem fio é detectado, mas não está se conectando. Ethernet funciona. Como corrigir o endereço sem fio?

Estou executando o Ubuntu 14.04 com internet a cabo e meu wireless é detectado e conectado, mas não consigo me conectar à Internet. Eu sei que o problema é com a minha máquina, porque outras máquinas estão se conectando ao mesmo roteador muito bem. Eu posso conectar via ethernet bem também.

Aqui estão alguns testes notáveis:

ping 192.168.0.105 funciona com 0% de perda de pacotes, mas ping 192.168.0.1 tem 100% de perda de pacotes.

Quando eu conecto minha ethernet, ping 192.168.0.1 funciona com 0% de perda de pacotes.

Meu nome sem fio é tg , e o ip do roteador é 192.168.0.1 (onde posso inserir o nome de usuário e a senha). Suspeito que preciso alterar meu endereço sem fio de 192.168.0.105 para 192.168.0.1 . Alguma sugestão de como proceder?

colocar a interface Ethernet

sudo ifconfig eth0 up

adquira ip. Use qualquer um dos itens abaixo (o que quer que funcione)

sudo dhclient eth0
sudo dhclient3 eth0
sudo dhcpcd eth0
