ubuntu 12.04 login retorna ao login [duplicado]

Este não é um problema de resolução, eu estou em um netbook, que tem funcionado bem por anos, eu não tenho gráficos nvidia, usuário convidado funciona muito bem com os gráficos existentes e adicionando um novo usuário tem funcionado muito bem com o gráficos existentes.

Eu tentei todas, exceto uma das respostas na resolução (criar um novo usuário e copiar tudo, solução alternativa).

12.04 instalado no meu notebook dell. Tem funcionado muito bem para as idades, antes de 12.04 estava rodando o ubuntu LTS anterior desde meados de 2010. Tudo funcionou bem.

Ontem não foi possível fazer login na tela de boas-vindas, lightdm. O nome de login / senha é aceito, mas depois de um segundo ou mais retorna à tela de login.

Eu posso entrar em uma sessão de convidado muito bem e tudo funciona bem, unidade funcionando bem, sem problemas gráficos, tudo OK. E quando lá usando ctrl / alt / F1 chegar a um prompt e login para CLI também muito bem, veja todos os meus arquivos no diretório inicial do encryptfs, então a senha está OK.

porque está tudo bem na nova conta e na sessão de convidado Eu não acho que haja um problema com o Xorg.conf.

Eu deletei .Xauthority, sem alegria.

Minha pasta home tem as permissões corretas drwxr-xr-x e pertencem a mim.

O papel de parede é de minha propriedade, mas pode ser lido por todos.

Meu disco rígido, apesar de estar cheio, ainda tem mais de 5GB disponíveis df -h

Eu tentei o sudo dpkg --configure -a; e sudo apt-get update; Eu não quero atualizar de 12.04.

Eu não tenho nvidia, então não vou tentar seus drivers. O driver existente funciona bem na nova conta.

Eu não quero seguir o procedimento de redefinição de senha, pois a senha não é um problema, funciona bem em tty e nenhuma mensagem de senha inválida aparece quando eu tento login gui.

Eu suspeito que há algo errado com o gdm, talvez um problema de permissões ao efetuar login como eu mesmo. aqui está: 0-greeter.log

Fazer o login ainda tem o mesmo problema, sem alterações.

Olhando para esses dois arquivos, ambos são de propriedade chris: chris, 0 bytes de comprimento e ambos foram modificados pela última vez há dois dias, quando a última máquina estava funcionando corretamente. Eu vou pensar sobre isso, talvez eu deva reinstalar o compiz.

Eu tenho pensado em torno de problemas com o X. Checked /hoe/chris/.xsession-errors, não é muita ajuda para mim, espero que alguém possa me apontar o caminho certo?

Eu tentei adicionar um usuário, john, do tty. Uma vez feito, eu reiniciei e tentei fazer o login, exatamente os mesmos problemas, mesmo com john, senha aceita e retrocedida na tela de login praticamente imediatamente. Eu ainda estou bem com uma sessão de convidado embora e sem problemas com ctrl / alt / F1

Mais tarde. Percebo que o diretório inicial do novo usuário, john, é de propriedade de root. Usando o sudo chown john: john john Eu mudei a propriedade do diretório home. Agora eu posso logar tão normal quanto o john, então estou progredindo.

Estou realmente lutando com isso e qualquer ajuda apreciada.

Efetue login em um TTY (sugiro que TTY1, seja CTRL + ALT + F1 ) e digite:

sudo chown -R YOURUSERNAME:YOURUSERNAME /home/YOURUSERNAME/

Obviamente, você precisa substituir YOURUSERNAME por seu nome de usuário.

Em seguida, volte para a tela de login e faça login.
