X2GO com o Ubuntu Mate / Xfce 16.04 falha ao iniciar

O X2GO com o Ubuntu Mate 16.04 falha ao iniciar com a seguinte mensagem de erro em ~/.xsession-x2go-errors

Para solucionar o problema definido em ~/.profile , o valor padrão do sistema para XDG_DATA_DIRS e para GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR .

export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

ótima ideia! Eu também tive esse problema. Se você quer que o x2go com o Mate funcione para todos os usuários habilitados eu colocaria isso

export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop
export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

mesma coisa no xfce4, mas eu não tive a mesma mensagem de erro: mais muita mensagem de erro como:

agora está funcionando apenas adicionando as duas linhas da postagem e alterando o posicionamento para xfce4
