Resolvido instalando os dois:
Eu não sei qual deles realmente resolveu o problema - apenas instalei ambos, reiniciei e deu certo.
Acabei de instalar um monitor Samsung de 22 '' de largura e parece muito estranho - os 20% corretos da tela estão envoltos no lado esquerdo do monitor!
