Foi descoberto como o problema do modemmanager analisando a resposta do telefone, veja o bug do gnome # 667869 ou bug da barra de lançamento # 916038 .
Eu me conecto à internet móvel através do bluetooth e do celular Nokia C7. A conexão bluetooth funciona com sucesso quando o telefone é iniciado de novo (ou seja, eu clico na conexão, configurei corretamente, no applet nm e ele conecta), mas quando não, eu entendo isso no dmesg:

Quando o telefone é reiniciado, a conexão funciona. Eu tive o mesmo problema com outro provedor (Orange na Áustria), e não tive problemas com outro telefone com o mesmo provedor (Vodafone).
Não encontrei mensagens do C7 mencionando tais problemas, então presumo que funcione bem no Windows. Alguma dica?
