Nada acontece ao clicar em Atualizar para 11.04

Eu estou no Ubuntu 10.10 e cada vez que eu inicializo meu sistema operacional, ele me pergunta se eu quero atualizar para o 11.04. Eu clico "sim, porque não". Ele baixa dois arquivos, pergunta minha senha e isso é tudo. Nada acontece.

Ok, eu corri sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade e obtive downloads e configurações e depois de alguns segundos ele parou depois

OK,   parece que seu sistema de gerenciamento de pacotes está um pouco confuso.

edite seu sources.list e # a seguinte entrada (não é um repositório padrão que reconheço):

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
#deb http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/ubuntu-upstart dist 10gen

salve então

Veja se o seguinte limpa o sistema de gerenciamento de pacotes:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get --fix-missing install
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get --reinstall --purge install update-manager
update-manager
