Grub Customizer no GNOME Ubuntu 17.10 - as configurações de aparência não são reconhecidas

Estou tendo um problema para fazer com que o "Appearance Settings" com o GRUB Customizer funcione. Eu estou em um Acer Espire executando dual boot Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome.

Eu também gostaria de salientar que o destaque colorido :: was :: working, mas que não está mais sendo reconhecido também.

Eu tenho procurado por horas e estou sem ideias. Alguém vendo algo fora do comum?

Acabei de reiniciar e a imagem selecionada parece não estar mais lá. A imagem não é válida por algum motivo?

** Atualização 2:

Eu notei algumas vezes que, ao gerar um novo arquivo grub, parece estar gerando duplicatas. Isso poderia ser parte do meu problema?
