Ubuntu 16.04 com XFCE4 e X2GO para administração remota

Eu tenho batido minha cabeça com este e não consigo resolvê-lo.

Este não é um trem completo, o problema é que simplesmente não consigo resolvê-lo.

Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS com XFCE4 (não início automático) que inicia ao efetuar login com o X2GO, para conveniência de administração remota. X2GO é executado através de um túnel SSH

O problema é que não há aceleração de hardware, portanto, não há composição de gráficos lentos e alta utilização da CPU.

Tanto quanto eu posso dizer, o driver correto está em uso, mas por algum motivo não há aceleração de hardware. Instalei os drivers com a Ferramenta de Atualização de Gráficos Intel e todas as informações que recebi dizem que este chipset suporta aceleração de hardware.

Estou assumindo que o problema está no canal VMVM LVM.

Alguma idéia de como corrigir isso?
