Eu queria instalar o grub em um disco rígido de um computador que não inicializava mais, para que eu pudesse inicializar novamente esse laptop.
Eu peguei o disco rígido e o conectei ao meu sistema Kubuntu 14.04 LTS. Então, segui este manual: link
Para evitar sobrescrever o diretório / boot existente no disco rígido, usei a opção para especificar outro diretório para instalar as imagens do Grub.
Mas infelizmente cometi um erro ...
Eu criei um diretório boot-grub2
.
Mas então eu digitei:
grub-install --boot-directory=/media/username/A2B4-12D3/ /dev/sdc1
em vez de:
grub-install --boot-directory=/media/username/A2B4-12D3/boot-grub2/ /dev/sdc1
Desde então, meu disco rígido não é mais reconhecido por nenhum computador. Não pelo meu sistema Kubuntu. Não pelo meu sistema Windows 10.
Quando eu conecto o disco rígido ao Kubuntu através de um Usb Nimitz Ultra Caddy (para conectar drives sata via usb), então:
cat /etc/mtab
não mostra um disco / dev / sdc1 sudo fdisk /dev/sdc
fornece esta saída: fdisk: unable to open /dev/sdc: No such file or directory
dmesg
fornece a saída abaixo. Quando conecto a unidade ao Windows, nada acontece.
Parece que meu disco rígido é torrado. Pelo menos por enquanto ...
Você sabe como posso recuperá-lo?
