Kernel panic com o Radeon Pro WX2100 e o Gigabyte AB350

Question

Eu tenho uma placa Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 (BIOS A10) e uma Radeon Pro WX2100 . Quando tento inicializar o Ubuntu 16.04 (4.10 ou 4.13) ou o Ubuntu 18.04 Alpha, o kernel entra em pane. Após um pânico no Ubuntu 16.04:

Substituir a Radeon por uma NVIDIA Quadro funciona como um encanto.

Entendi com a inicialização de acpi=off no grub.
