Bluetooth não funciona de todo depois que fiz algumas alterações para emparelhar com o joystick PS3

Eu tenho um computador de "mídia" conectado a uma TV que uso para reproduzir filmes, músicas e jogos.

Ultimamente eu queria usar um ou ambos os meus joysticks Wii e PS3 através do bluetooth fornecido pela placa-mãe. No começo, meu PC parecia ser capaz de detectar os joysticks do PS3, mas não de emparelhá-los. Eu fui capaz de emparelhar um joystick do PS3 e ver as várias ações que eu desencadeei, mas o dispositivo se tornaria desemparelhado quando eu fechasse o programa.

Eu tentei várias idéias de como-aqui e aqui. O sistema finalmente acabou com o Bluetooth incapaz de funcionar corretamente ...

Agora, quando inicio uma nova sessão, o ícone do Bluetooth perto da hora não é exibido. Eu posso iniciar o aplicativo Bluetooth, mas nenhum dispositivo é detectado. Eu posso ter mexido com drivers enquanto segue uma instrução modprobe no howtos.

sudo lspci | grep -i blue não está mostrando nada. Nem é lsusb

A placa-mãe é uma GIGABYTE GA-Z87N-WIFI e o bluetooth funcionou.
Eu uso o Ubuntu 16.04.

Como posso resolver isso?

TL; DR: Desligue, remova a fonte de alimentação, pegue um café e reinicie.

Eu tive um problema semelhante em que minha GF conectou seu telefone ao cabo USB que eu conectei ao meu PC para transferir dados. De repente, meu fone de ouvido BT parou de funcionar e toda a atividade do bluetooth foi interrompida. Eu procurei através do log do kernel e encontrei logs semelhantes à sua maneira

Então eu achei esta postagem que me disse para não reiniciar, mas desligar, desligue a alimentação, deixe os condensadores limpar e depois volte a ligar . Fiz isso e boom:

Estou executando um

07:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 6b)

dispositivo para ser compatível com Hackintosh, mas na verdade mudou para o Debian todo o caminho.
