Eu encontrei o problema. Eu tinha instalado o python 3.6 e configurei o / usr / bin / python3 para ele. Mudar / usr / bin / python3 de volta para o python 3.5 resolveu o problema.

sudo rm /usr/bin/python3

sudo ln -s python3.5 /usr/bin/python3
