Analisando falha de inicialização: ajude-me a interpretar o resultado smartctl

Contexto: continuo a ter problemas com a inicialização da minha máquina Ubuntu com sistema operacional único, quando inicio o meu computador portátil recebo erros como: Checking Media - failed , Failure reading sector 0x... from 'hd0' , error: environment block too small Error: attempt to read or write outside disk 'hd0' , e assim por diante. Quando o SO inicializa e eu posso usar o laptop, depois de algum tempo o SO bloqueia (possivelmente quando eu uso o Chrome) e trava com erros estranhos: fazer o sudo do terminal pode resultar em bash: /usr/bin/sudo: Input/output error ou o touchpad pára de funcionar e os ícones desaparecem. Ou eu recebo uma tela preta com:

Meu sistema: Dell Inspiron 15R-5521, Hdd 1TB SATA3 5200 RPM, i7, 8 GB de RAM, Ubuntu 16 (o mesmo acontece com o Linux Mint ou o Ubuntu Mate)

Estou tentando ver se é um problema no disco rígido ou algo queimado na placa-mãe.

Pergunta: eu corri smartctl -a no meu disco rígido. Você pode ajudar a interpretar esses resultados para mim?

Bem, seu disco rígido não parece ter setores danificados, então é bom. Ele tem alguns erros de CRC, o que geralmente é bom. Você tem espaço livre em disco? Tente df -h . Isso geralmente pode causar esse erro. Existe algo interessante em dmesg ?
