Instalação do driver wifi RT3290 - erro

Estou tentando instalar o driver RT3290 wifi desde wifi funciona no meu laptop, mas às vezes desconecta aleatoriamente.
Eu baixei o driver aqui link já que as outras fontes não estão mais disponíveis.
Quando eu executo o comando make eu recebo esta saída:

Alguém sabe como corrigir esse erro ou instalar com êxito o driver? Obrigado

Não há um motivo para construir um driver diferente, pois o kernel usa o módulo rt2800pci. No entanto, este módulo não funciona bem com o gerenciamento de energia wifi ativado, verifique os resultados para iwconfig

Você pode desativar o gerenciamento de energia do Wi-Fi com

sudo sed -i 's/wifi.powersave = 3/wifi.powersave = 2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf
