Remoção de drivers de dongle WiFi

Question

Eu costumava usar um dongle WiFi Edimax , e funcionava bem.

Eu então inseri um duple Edup e isso fez meu PC congelar completamente. Apenas o reinício ajudou.

Agora, quando eu conecto o dongle Edimax original, o PC congela novamente.

Meu pensamento é que o driver Edup está com defeito, e agora o dongle Edimax está tentando usar esse driver.

Existe uma maneira de remover todos os drivers de dongle USB WiFi para que eu possa começar de novo com o driver Edimax?

Revisei seu syslog. Isto na verdade parece muito bom. Você está correto, nenhuma das entradas que estávamos procurando foi sincronizada com o arquivo syslog após o travamento.

Eu notei alguns pequenos problemas, não relacionados ao seu problema Edimax, que devem ser corrigidos. Veja mais abaixo ...

O que eu quero fazer a seguir, para solucionar o problema do Edimax, é fazer com que você inicialize o Ubuntu Live DVD no modo "Try Ubuntu", insira um dos seus dongles e veja se ele trava Sistema vivo.

e altere o final do arquivo para que fique assim ...
