Superaquecimento da CPU no Ubuntu 16.04 (MSI GE40)

Nos últimos 2 anos, tenho tentado mudar definitivamente meu laptop do Windows para o Linux, mas tem sido uma luta constante. Eu tenho um MSI GE40 com CPU Intel i7 4800MQ.

Acabei de instalar (16/03/2017) o Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS na esperança de que todos os meus problemas fossem resolvidos e, aparentemente, a maioria deles são, mas este ainda permanece.

Quando inicializo no Ubuntu, a temperatura da minha CPU é de cerca de 60º Celsius, após apenas 30 minutos de uso (não uso pesado, apenas um navegador com 2 ou 3 guias e um Terminal - loadaverage abaixo de 1) a temperatura aumenta para 87º Celsius. O notebook começa a ficar lento e muito quente.

O comando "sensores" foi usado para obter a temperatura da CPU.

Eu fiz meu dever de casa, li posts e experimentei muitos comandos, mas nenhum deles funcionou corretamente. Os seguintes comandos foram executados:

Após alguns minutos, o carregamento da carga retorna ao normal e a temperatura cai um pouco, mas depois de 14 minutos a temperatura está alta novamente:

Desde que o notebook começou a congelar, eu reiniciei no Windows, e para minha surpresa, após 2 ou 3 minutos de tempo de atividade, a saída "Core Temp" foi esta:

O mesmo comportamento ocorre com os "drivers" OpenSource ou CPU proprietários. Eu também tentei "rmmod intel_powerclamp", mas isso só impediu que o kidle_inject acontecesse novamente, a temperatura ainda permanece muito alta.

Mesmo que seu quarto não esteja empoeirado, recomendamos que você limpe seus caminhos de ventilação e ventiladores em seu laptop pelo menos uma vez por ano.

Às vezes, o padrão /etc/thermald/thermal-conf.xml não reage em breve. Salve seu original em algum lugar e tente este, observando que ele tem uma temperatura limiar ridiculamente baixa, apenas para testes.
