Conexão VPN falhou no Ubuntu 14.04

De alguma forma, após as atualizações do sistema na noite passada, não consigo me conectar à VPN (Cisco open-vpn).

Sua questão principal está aqui:

SCPlugin-Ifupdown: devices added (path: /sys/devices/virtual/net/tun1, iface: tun1)
SCPlugin-Ifupdown: device added (path: /sys/devices/virtual/net/tun1, iface: tun1): no ifupdown configuration found.

Quando o serviço VPN é iniciado, ele adiciona uma interface de rede tun1 e tenta configurá-lo. No entanto, não há configuração para tun1 em /etc/network/interfaces , portanto, o serviço VPN pára por aí.

Agora, não sei o suficiente sobre VPNs no Linux para dizer exatamente o que fazer. Talvez tenha sido tun0 antes, e outro tun0 tenha sido adicionado à máquina, então ele aumentou em um? Talvez você possa apenas configurar tun1 em /etc/network/interfaces ?
