Disco ExFat não detectado

Question

Estou tentando conectar um disco rígido externo ao meu computador (Ubuntu 16.04, dual boot com windows). Eu verifiquei e o disco está funcionando em outros computadores. Ele também estava trabalhando no meu antes, e por algum motivo, ele parou de ser detectado e montado automaticamente.

O disco rígido externo foi formatado em exFat usando outro computador com o Mac OS X. A parte estranha é que, se eu deixá-lo ligado por tempo suficiente, de repente ele é montado automaticamente pelo computador (depois de vários minutos) e depois funciona como um encanto.

Quando conectado, o disco não aparece no fdisk ou em outros lsblk, ... A saída do Dmesg está, no entanto, registrando a conexão do disco:

E depois disso, o disco funciona perfeitamente.

O que está acontecendo aqui? Eu olhei e olhei em fóruns e não consegui encontrar nada. Seria ótimo se alguém tivesse uma solução para que o disco fosse detectado e montado como qualquer disco normal, sem levar todo esse tempo e às vezes de repente funcionando.

Tente isto:

Abra um terminal (pressione Ctrl + Alt + T )

Em seguida, execute:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install --reinstall exfat-fuse exfat-utils
