Ubuntu 16.04 LTS e GRUB2

Question

Meu GRUB2 ver 2.02 ~ beta2-36ubuntu3.4 não será inicializado automaticamente no Ubuntu. Ele continua aparecendo na tela de Seleção de Inicialização do GRUB OS, embora eu tenha apenas o 1 OS listado. Eu tentei várias resoluções por conta própria e não consegui arrancar diretamente no Ubuntu. Eu tentei modificar alguns valores no meu arquivo /boot/default/grub.cfg e seguir o que está configurado da seguinte forma:

Por que complicar as coisas? Volte para uma configuração simples do GRUB.
