Eu tentei a solução do fórum, mas não encontrei o arquivo registry.vdf para alterar as linhas

Eu encontrei a solução com isso

cd .steam/
rm steam.pid
cd
rm .steampid

sudo apt-get install xfonts-100dpi xfonts-75dpi

Em seguida, execute o vapor novamente!

se não funcionar primeiro, reinicie

Eu resolvo o problema no meu laptop com o comando:

steam --reset

meu laptop é um Acer aspire 5742G com um intel core i5-480m e um Nvidia Geforce GT 540m, eu uso o bumblebee para evitar problemas de otimização.
