Carregando firmware sem fio

Eu tenho um laptop com chipset 802.11ad da Wilocity que funciona perfeitamente no Windows. Considerando que, no Ubuntu 16.04.1 me dá uma mensagem de que o firmware está faltando e não está disponível para download, mas o driver já está disponível no sistema operacional. Eu já tenho o arquivo de firmware (wil6210.fw), então eu tentei copiá-lo para / lib / firmware e desabilitar e habilitar os adaptadores sem fio (em ordem para carregar o firmware), mas nada mudou e ainda estou recebendo a mensagem de firmware ausente . Há mais etapas que preciso fazer?
