TV com sintonizador USB: o Eye TV não é reconhecido

Minha tuner TV "Eye Tv Go" não é reconhecida (Ubuntu 14.04, kernel 4.2.0-42-generic )

O chipset é it9135. Existem arquivos de firmware em /usr/lib/firmware : dvb-usb-it9135-01.fw e dvb-usb-it9135-02.fw

Como usar isso? ou consertá-lo?
