Não é possível iniciar o DBDesigner

Eu quero iniciar o aplicativo DBDesigner que eu já baixei aqui . E fiz exatamente o que eles dizem nesta página:
Download the file to your HOME directory. Extract the tar archive by executing tar xvzf DBDesigner4.0.5.4.tar.gz from the command line. Change to the created directory (cd DBDesigner4) and run ./startdbd.sh to start DBDesigner 4.
Mas quando tento executar o ./startdbd.sh , ele diz
no such file or directory
O que estou fazendo de errado?
