Recentemente recebi avisos de que /var estava cheio (partição de 2 GB). A fonte é o kern.log preenchido com:

Eu tenho um HP Pavilion 15 Gaming AK-100NF (i5 6300HQ, GTX 850M, 6 GB de RAM) com um SSD adicionado (o Ubuntu está nele)

Aqui está a organização do meu SSD:

+-----+-+--+--------------------+---------------+---------+-------------------------+
|SSD: | | | | | | |
|33 GB| | | 170 GB | 18.63GB | 12 GB | 32 GB |
| | | | | | | |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| | | | C:/ | / (root) | /swap | /home |
+-----+-+--+--------------------+---------------+---------+-------------------------+

A partição /var está no meu disco rígido e tem 2 GB

E aqui está a identificação do dispositivo:
