Dependências do pacote

Estou instalando o vlc no ubuntu 14.04 e depois mostrando algum erro ..

Você esqueceu de fazer sudo apt-get update ? (atualiza as listas de pacotes.)

O comando de instalação para vlc:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install vlc

Para instalar automaticamente todas as dependências,

Abra um terminal ( ctrl + alt + t ) e execute este comando:

sudo apt-get install -f
