Tudo bem e elegante até tentar instalar esse pacote:

No Ubuntu 15.10, reintroduzimos o ffmpeg como ferramenta de conversão padrão para substituir o avconv . Os codecs serão fornecidos por libavcodec-ffmpeg56 .

sudo apt-get install libavcodec-ffmpeg56

O pacote anterior libavcodec56 não é mais suportado.
