Não é possível expandir a partição no gparted

Question

Estou realmente empenhado em aumentar o tamanho da partição sda5, que é um lvm2. Eu sou muito novo no Linux e estou realmente puxando meu cabelo aqui.

Pelo que eu li, os LVM's devem ser realmente flexíveis, mas eu não estou achando que seja assim.

Nesta captura de tela do GParted, você pode ver sda2 e sda5 bloqueados. Agora eu li alguns artigos dizendo boot off a dvd, que é o que eu fiz aqui. Eu tentei o comando umount, mas ele diz que não está montado.

Se alguém tiver algum conselho sobre onde proceder, será muito apreciado.

Have you you tried trying to change the amount of the partition while having booted from a USB or DVD and having clicked "try Ubuntu without installing" or anything to similar to that.
So what I mean to be specific is to: 
    1)boot from USB or DVD
    2)click "Try Ubuntu without installing" 
    3)Then trying the partition you would like
