Reinstale os drivers, Espero que a questão acima dependa do OEM Driver Issue.
O mesmo problema acontece no meu laptop Acer também, eu acho o driver OEM reinstalar do que o seu trabalho.
Eu instalei o Ubuntu 14.04 no meu Lenovo G50-70 dois dias atrás, e o wireless estava funcionando bem. Mas desde ontem eu não consegui me conectar à rede sem fio. O laptop detecta a rede, mas não consegue se conectar a ela. Conexão a cabo está funcionando bem embora.
