Dell inspiron 1501 ubuntu 14.04 lts 32 bits não funciona, mas trabalho ethernet [duplicado]

Question

Eu insto o ubuntu 14.04 no meu antigo laptop, mas o wifi não funciona e quando eu uso fn + f2 chaves para wifi nada muda. em algum momento quando eu inicializar o xp e usar o wifi e o boot do Ubuntu novamente, o wifi ainda funciona, mas o wifi não funciona.

Eu posso conectar a net com cabo ethernet Eu tento alguma instrução em algum site mas nada muda como:

 sudo apt-get remove --purge bcmwl-kernel-source
 sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree

por favor me ajude desculpe pelo meu mau inglês.

Você precisa instalar o firmware. Correr no terminal

sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
