Boot in failed. Mostra erro Fontconfig

Question

Após uma atualização malsucedida de 12.04 LTS para 14.04, não estou autorizado a efetuar login, pois mostra uma tela preta com a mensagem começando com

Fontconfig error:"etc/fonts/conf.d/65-khmer.conf", line 14: out of memory.

Como resolvo isso?

Não há outras partições de inicialização neste sistema. Sem janelas.

Mude para tty1 Ctrl + Alt + F1 , faça o login e execute este comando:

sudo apt-get purge fonts-khmeros-core

É um bug antigo e, presumo, você não precisa dessa fonte ;)
